What is Orlando best known for, and what can I book?
Orlando is built around theme parks: Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando, SeaWorld and others. Outside the parks, the offers we list cover Kennedy Space Center, airboat and alligator outings, manatee kayak tours, dinner shows, ICON Park and helicopter flights.
Does Orlando have a beach?
No. Orlando is inland. The nearest Atlantic beaches, such as Cocoa Beach, are roughly an hour's drive east, and Gulf Coast beaches near Clearwater are farther.
How far is Kennedy Space Center from Orlando?
The Visitor Complex is on Merritt Island at Cape Canaveral, roughly an hour's drive east of Orlando's tourist areas. A ticket alone does not include the journey; some listings add transport from Orlando for a full day.
Are the Everglades near Orlando?
No. Everglades National Park is in South Florida, hours from Orlando. Airboat rides sold here, even when the title says Everglades, run on lakes and wetlands in Central Florida.
Do I need a car in Orlando?
Distances between the parks, International Drive and the outings east and north are large. Many tours include hotel pickup and shuttles serve some routes, but a car or rideshare gives the most flexibility. Check each booking page for the meeting point.
